Processing
The substrate must be clean, dry and oil free; loose particles should be removed. Blasting the substrate is preferred. Concrete surfaces should be 28 days old, oil free and without rust.
The substrate may be damp. For more information, contact our Technical Department.
After stirring both components, the B-component should be added to the A-component.
Use the entire content of each component.
Do not use thinners for either component deviation from the quantities delivered is not allowed.
Mix carefully using a mechanical mixer for about 4 minutes, until the mixture has a smooth colour. Mixing must be at low speed (about 400 rpm), to avoid the addition of excessive air during mixing.
Mixture ratio
100 parts of weight of component A
50 parts of weight of component B
The resulting mixture can be applied at temperatures ranging from +10 ºC to + 30 ºC with a block brush, after which it should be rolled over and aerated with a short-haired mohair roller.
For best results and a smooth finish apply Superpox® Swimming Pool Base Coat in two coats of about 300 micron each.
Tools, stains etc. should be cleaned with Superpox® Cleaner before drying.
Packaging
Superpox® Swimming Pool Base Coat is supplied in complete sets of 1.5 and 3.0 kilos.
